Magic Corn

Magic Corn.

So, what exactly is it that puts the ‘magic’ in Magic Corn? In a word, it’s the quality of our product. It’s what we’ve built our reputation on since 1988, and it’s what makes us superior to other corn products.

Our Guarantee of Quality.

The high quality corn we produce is a result of two things: a research team that is committed to ongoing research & development, and farmers who possess plenty of good old-fashioned ‘green thumb’ know-how. Our farmers have an intimate knowledge of the land and employ the latest research techniques to produce a better grade of maize.

Research has also helped to ensure our corn of having a longer shelf life; this is reinforced by consistent quality control testing and analysis to maintain product freshness.

Natural Goodness.

Magic Corn retains a level of crunchiness and juiciness that’s unsurpassed. That’s because we’ve developed a unique method for extracting the whole kernel of corn from the cob, as opposed to the faster method of simply cutting the kernels from the cob.

Once the kernels have separated from the cob, they’re immediately frozen within the hour to seal in all the natural nutritional goodness. No preservatives are added, of course.

And that’s because we want you to taste only the corn and nothing else but the corn.

High in Nutritional Value

Magic Corn is high in fibre, niacin, folate and, to a lesser degree, Vitamin A.

Folate has been found to prevent neural-tube birth defects and current research suggests that it helps to reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke. Fibre helps to keep the intestinal tract running smoothly.

Our sister company has been awarded ISO 22000 and HACCP accreditation. ISO 22000 specifies requirements for a food safety management system where an organization in the food chain needs to demonstrate its ability to control food safety hazards in order to ensure that food is safe at the time of human consumption.
